Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a social welfare charity as their Research Manager. As this is a new role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to create a research base from scratch and build the team as the organisation grows. The role entails:
- Building a convincing case around the benefits of social welfare and representing the organisation externally
- Working with internal and external stakeholders
- Working alongside the Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager to ensure campaign aims are backed by evidence
- Managing the Research budget
The successful candidate will possess:
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Experience of managing research projects
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- An ambitious and enthusiastic individual, who is able to get stuck straight into issues
- Understanding of social welfare issues
