Job Description

A great opportunity to take the lead on policy and public affairs at this renowned charity and shape the organisation’s internal and external engagement. Working closely with the Senior Management team, you’ll advise on issues affecting the sector and provide insight on stakeholder opinion, producing regular briefings and responding to consultations. In conjunction, you’ll identify and create proactive campaigns, and build and maintain a network of contacts across Westminster, Whitehall and local government, and with the wider policy and charity sectors.

Politically astute and with experience of advocacy and policy at a national or regional level, you‘ll be skilled in devising and delivering successful stakeholder engagement programmes, research projects and events to influence policy. A strategic and analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail and excellent writing skills, you’ll be quick to grasp complex information and present your ideas in a concise and compelling way.

Sector experience isn’t essential but you’ll need to demonstrate a keen interest in the sector coupled with a desire to step up and deliver tangible results.
