A pivotal role with a high profile membership body with a diverse stakeholder base, consumer and industry included.
Reporting to the Director of Communications and leading a team, you’ll create and roll out proactive PR campaigns and lead a busy press office, managing media response to industry issues and crises, and acting as spokesperson with print and broadcast media. In addition to providing senior level counsel to senior management and to members, you’ll manage content and messaging across all external channels, including digital, to ensure consistency and quality.
With extensive media relations’ experience, including the ability to represent the organisation and the industry in broadcast opportunities, you’ll demonstrate keen judgement and creative thinking, and you’ll be quick to respond in the event of issues and crises. Strong leadership skills are a must and you’ll be skilled in building relations with senior level stakeholders and providing sound advice.
