The need is for a creative communications professional to develop an innovative external communications strategy encompassing political and stakeholder engagement, media relations, digital and social media, and events and fundraising, while building strong links with opinion formers and representing the organisation to high profile stakeholders, media included.
Creative and strategic, and with a passion for public policy, you’ll bring a keen understanding of Parliamentary procedure and the workings of Whitehall, a track record of engaging with, and influencing, political stakeholders and media, and a talent for writing for diverse audiences. First class project management skills are essential and you’ll be able to work across initiatives with competing deadlines and provide direction to a small team. Experience gained in the NGO sector would be a plus.
