Account Manager Public Affairs – Bristol
We are looking for talented individuals with a background in public consultation in Wales and the South West region of England. Experience of working in either (or ideally both) areas and good political contacts are crucial, as is the ambition to play an active part in a growing team. You will also have an understanding of property and planning and be enthusiastic to work on strategic projects in both areas.
You will probably be an experienced Account Manager or developing Senior Account Executive. You will already:
- Understand the property and planning sector and how local government works
- Communicate well with strong writing and inter-personal skills
- Demonstrate drive, commitment and a focus to producing work of the highest standard
- Have attention to detail, excellent workload management and be a good team player
You may have experience of managing people.
Possessing drive and initiative, you will be responsible for supporting the Account Directors in executing creative engagement programmes to help achieve your clients' objectives. Your work will include direct liaison with stakeholders and members of the public and you will be expected to produce concise and compelling collateral material.
Most of your work will focus on securing consent for planning applications, but - dependent on your knowledge and experience - there are also opportunities on wider public affairs campaigns. Your management will include client accounts and also the work of your assigned Account Executives.
